We had a lovely holiday dinner from the Docking Fish Bar tonight. We ordered 4 regular chips and 4 large battered sausage. We are renting a holiday cottage down the side of the chip shop so easy to walk to! The service was so friendly and quick. All 3 members of staff thanked us and said goodbye, super friendly and polite The dinner was lovely, fresh and hot. Our teenaged kids loved it too. We also had left overs as good portions. Perfect size for an adult. Thank you so much for our yummy dinner.

Visited this fish and chip shop whilst on a family break. Server was brilliant and explained to my father in law the portion sizes so he could choose. The chips were lovely and the fish was beautifully cooked. Please don't refer to the google picture for pricing as this is a customers picture from a few years ago, but the pricing was reasonable for fish and chips in 2025. Would highly recommend and will visit again when back in the area.

Lovely fresh fish and chips! Also good selection of other items including plaice, sausages and burgers. Went twice while staying on holiday in the town as was only a five minute walk so was perfect. Really nice curry sauce as well. Would definitely come back.

Great, hot food, all cooked. Plenty for 2 with a fish each and a single box of chips. Quick, covid safe service. Good to see card and paper packaging although I did refuse the plastic carrier bag. Definately go again. Sorry, took the photo part way through the meal!

Had a chat and a laugh with the server and the chap whom I presume is the owner. Very pleasant people. Fish fried fresh to order....yum. Generous portions. And pretty quick too.

Visited twice whilst on a weeks holiday in Docking. We arrived late evening at our cottage on the Saturday and they were closed, but they opened up and let me have my fish and chips. The second visit was even better, perfectly cooked fish and chips and very generous portions. Recommended, but be aware that they now shut at 8pm.
